August 2010

The last full month of summer means making the most of the outside. August’s search for food graff meant traipsing all over the City: Harlem, Little Italy, the East Village and the Lower East Side. Chelsea, Greenwich Village, Alphabet City, and both Washington and Morningside Heights. And there were more than 250 pieces of food graff.

The usual suspects were on display, but so were newer food tags like Muffin Milk. A Fatty Crab sticker in Washington Heights, Kit Kat and Eat Your Veggies in Alphabet City, Shank in Gramercy, Katsu has an iPhone App, and wait, is that…a Bieber Burger?
