April 2009

The kickoff of this food graffiti project began in April 2009 as a movable feast in Queens. Before a routine developed, tag locations were written down and then, unfortunately, lost. As such, some of the tags’ locations are vague. Mostly, April’s Gallery followed the Babylon line of the Long Island Rail Road. Some tags could actually be seen from the train.

For the most part, this stretch of Queens was the territory of Mayo, though there was a fare share of Salt (Sel in French), some Kamikaze shots, and Ham– a meal for champions.
